The Big Book of Scales is FINALLY OUT!!!

After years of seeing this method book and that method book I came to realize that ... No one has charted and diagrammed ALL of the scales for any keyboard style instruments. No one has shown these in ALL KEYS. No one has notated ALL SCALES in ALL KEYS with KEYBOARD DIAGRAMS ... UNTIL NOW!
Hello Colleague, As you see I became very busy over the past few months. I was always in search of the system that would "SHOW ME" how to play those darn scales we needed to learn. My necessity came from trying to teach my students. Trying to get them to understand transposing keys and to visualize the steps in transposing. It became a nightmare for the younger student. Having to explain each scale in each key ended up being at the keyboard and then the student would go home with only notation as their guide. So doesn't it make sense to also have a diagram for it, too? It's done in all beginner books on each instrument just to learn the notes. Now we are starting to learn scales. The beginning. So why not diagram them as well?

"Ray, I love the e-book buddy! I think it's a great tool, and a must have. I would love to get a copy of the whole thing, how much? This book is similar to Jazz Patterns by Jerry Coker, but I think you've complied more scales and diagrams for your project. I once envisioned doing something like this when I was in high school, but I'm glad you're the one who did it, major applause my friend! ... I think this is a great idea, and it's something to have especially when teaching young jazz musicians. Robert Robert Soto M.M.
Visuals. Give me visuals.Well, that's exactly what I have done here. I took all those past frustrating memories of my students and said I am going to make this EASIER FOR THEM. Give them a way to have a visual of what they are practicing/studying. We all know that diagrams make learning and following so much easier and actually enjoyable. Many careers and jobs use visuals all the time. Auto Mechanics, Electricians, Plumbers, Landscapers, Mechanical Engineers, even Rocket Scientists! So why not musicians/students?

"Ray, This is something that has been needed for a long time. I see where this book will help a student with their theory and broaden the motion of sticking patterns for any student learning mallets. Also, the notation part will help exercise anyone's reading skills. You, as my former student and now colleague, have made me proud. Dick Janes

Have Their Ideas Been Tested? Most times a book is written on concepts. Don't get me wrong. A writer needs to be able to back up what they write. And most do their research but do they actually test their book BEFORE they release it? I can't say they do or don't. I will say that this book is still being tested on live students in high schools right now. This book is being reviewed by colleagues and professors that are EXPERTS in music.
